Overview

While many visitors know Rethymno for its Venetian harbor and charming Old Town, few experience the incredible beauty of its coastline from the sea. This 6.5 hours sailing adventure offers a completely different perspective, combining stunning landscapes, authentic hospitality, and the freedom that only life on the water can provide.

Departing from Rethymno Marina aboard a modern catamaran, you’ll sail eastward along one of Crete’s most beautiful coastal stretches toward the picturesque village of Georgioupoli. Along the way, you’ll discover secluded bays, dramatic cliffs, untouched beaches, and crystal-clear swimming spots that remain inaccessible to most visitors arriving by land.

Unlike large excursion boats, this small-group experience offers plenty of space to relax, socialize, or simply enjoy the scenery at your own pace. The experienced crew carefully selects the best anchoring spots based on weather and sea conditions, ensuring a memorable and comfortable day on the water.

Swimming and snorkeling are major highlights of the cruise. The waters along this section of Crete’s coastline are exceptionally clear, offering fantastic opportunities to explore the underwater world. Paddleboards are also available for those wishing to add a little adventure to their day.

Throughout the cruise, you’ll enjoy freshly prepared food, local flavors, refreshing drinks, and genuine Cretan hospitality. We believe that the most memorable experiences combine nature, culture, and authentic local moments. This sailing journey captures all three, offering a relaxed yet immersive way to discover one of Crete’s most beautiful regions.
